We aim to be fair and transparent. This policy explains when refunds are available and how to request one.

1. Overview

xuurl offers both monthly and yearly subscriptions. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings. This policy covers refunds for subscription fees paid to xuurl.

We don’t sell personal data, run ads, or charge hidden fees. If something seems off, please contact us — we want to make it right.

2. Eligibility

To be eligible for a refund, one of the following must apply:

  • There was a verified billing error or duplicate charge.
  • Service was unavailable for a prolonged period not caused by you, your ISP, or third‑party dependencies.
  • You purchased a yearly plan and request a refund within the window described below.

3. Monthly plans

  • Monthly fees are generally non‑refundable once a billing cycle starts.
  • You can cancel any time; your plan remains active until the end of the current period.
  • We’ll consider refunds for clear billing mistakes or extraordinary outages.

4. Yearly plans

  • We offer a 14‑day refund window from the first purchase date of an annual plan.
  • After 14 days, annual fees are non‑refundable and non‑prorated, but you can cancel renewal.
  • If you upgrade from monthly to yearly, the 14‑day window starts on the annual charge date.

5. Trials & promotions

  • Free or discounted trials end automatically at the stated time. If you continue, normal billing applies.
  • Refunds are not provided for promotional periods unless required by law.

6. Billing mistakes & unauthorized charges

  • If you spot an error, contact us within 7 days of the charge for the fastest resolution.
  • Unauthorized charges should also be reported to your payment provider.
  • Chargebacks: we always try to resolve issues directly; opening a chargeback pauses account access until the dispute is resolved.

7. Cancellations & downgrades

  • Cancel anytime from billing settings — access continues through the current term.
  • Downgrades take effect at the next renewal. Feature limits apply after the change.
  • Deleting your account immediately ends access; refunds are not issued unless required by this policy.

8. How to request a refund

Email support@xuurl.com with the subject Refund request and include:

  • The email used for your account
  • Invoice ID(s) or the last 4 digits of the card on file
  • Reason for the request and any relevant screenshots/logs

We aim to reply within one business day. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method; timing depends on your bank or card issuer.

9. Exceptions

  • No refunds for accounts suspended due to abuse, spam, malware, or policy violations.
  • No refunds for third‑party fees (e.g., domain providers) outside xuurl’s control.
  • Where local law grants additional rights (e.g., consumer cooling‑off), we will honor those rights.

10. Changes

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our service or applicable law. Material changes will be announced in‑app or via email.
